Micah 5:2
But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah,
who are too little to be among the clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to be ruler in Israel,
whose coming forth is from of old,
from ancient days.

Love your depiction of Israel and the Lion of the tribe of Judah.
Kent, that is beautiful!
I’m so glad your still using your God-given talent , and especially for Advent ! I love the one Ryan did also, you have a wonderful family!
I love the color palette and the splashes of paint. And I really like the expression – there is a sadness and sobriety in it. A deep caring.
Love it, Kent!
Karina expressed my reaction! The kingly purple and regal expression on the lion’s face reminded me of Hosea 11:10-11
They will follow the Lord;
he will roar like a lion.
When he roars,
his children will come trembling from the west.
11 They will come from Egypt,
trembling like sparrows,
from Assyria, fluttering like doves.
I will settle them in their homes,”
declares the Lord.
Love those eyes Lowell! So much emotion in them.
