John 1: 9-13
9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
Description: It starts at the top with the promise in the garden, then genetically to Rahab, who placed a red cord in her window, then to King David, then to Christ. The cord represents the thread of Christ that runs from Genesis to Revelation. Rahab was a Gentile and David was a Jew.

Add Yours →Pam, that’s a very interesting and meaningful illustration.
Yes, very contemplative! I really like the scratch board. Rahab is a great example of one who did receive him and became a child of God.
Love the scratchboard. Great work, Pam!
Thanks for that explanation Pam! Those connections are so interesting!
